Charlie Greer
Charlie Greer started in the HVAC industry in 1985 as a sales trainee at Ron Smith’s old company, Modern Air, in Fort Myers, Florida. Within a few years, Charlie was receiving national recognition for his high closing ratio and high average sale.
While at Modern, Charlie started running service calls with the technicians to learn more about the industry and the equipment. While working with them, Charlie couldn’t help but observe that they were stepping over and around replacement opportunities galore because they weren’t interested in sales.
In 1989, Charlie stopped running sales calls and began working out of a service truck. By 1990, Charlie made the decision to start his consulting practice, specializing in sales training for the contractors, service technicians, salespeople, and CSRs of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC service companies.
For 15 years, Charlie traveled throughout North America, running sales and service calls with HVAC contractors, their salespeople, and their service technicians. Charlie has worked with every kind of company, from large to small, in both metropolitan and rural markets, teaching technicians to be more effective and profitable.

Chris Hunter
Chris Hunter and his wife, Nickie, started Hunter Heat and Air in 2006. Since then, Chris’s business has grown to over six locations throughout Oklahoma. Chris currently holds an unlimited mechanical contractor license, 7 different NATE certifications, NCI air balancing certification, membership with several technical organizations and serves on three local non-profit boards.
Chris unashamedly points to the source of his business and life philosophy as originating from the ultimate instruction manual, the Bible. In Colossians 3:23 it states, “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as to The Lord and not to men”. That type of mentality is what led him to seek out the industry best to learn from, assemble the best team he could and always be looking for ways to better serve his customers.
Chris’s business has seen great growth over the last 11 years, and he loves being able to focus on building his team. Since he started his business, Chris has been nationally recognized as the Contractor of the Year in 2016 by the ACHR the NEWS, Best Contractor to Work For, Top 40 under 40 in the HVAC industry, PHC magazine Top 20 Contractors, and the winner of the Ron Smith Industry Trailblazer Award. Currently Chris has started to work with contractors, helping them prosper as a business coach and consultant.
